Olympic gold Medalist, Masai Russell  has opened up on the skill she has mastered most, revealing some quite interesting facts about her life.

In one of the interviews in which she shared on her Instagram stories she said; “I’m definitely good at fishing,” she lamented with a grin, without skipping a beat. “But I also wouldn’t mind getting good at pickleball or tennis. I haven’t tried but I wouldn’t mind.”

It’s a revelation that might surprise her growing fan base. Most of her followers know her from electrifying races, viral TikToks, and her fierce presence as a team leader.

However, Masai Russell also disclosed if she’s not chasing new hobbies or spending time outdoors, you might find her deep into a classic reality indulge

“My comfort watch is definitely Dance Moms,” she confessed, laughing. “Throwing it back to who knows when.”

Off the track, Russell embodies the same commanding presence she brings to races. When asked what she’s best at besides sports, she didn’t hesitate: “Telling people what to do.” The answer is classic Masai , bold, honest, and deeply self-aware.

Russel has been in an impressive form. Her season began with a bang at the Texas Tech Corky Classic on January 17. She dominated the 60m hurdles with a world-leading 7.89 seconds, outpacing fierce rival Devynne Charlton.

This electrifying opener followed her surprising 4x400m relay appearance at the Rod McCravy Memorial, where she clocked a 52.84-second split, signaling her versatility.

She also set an American record of 12.17 seconds in the 100m hurdles at the Grand Slam Track Miami meet. That was the second-fastest time in world history, just behind Tobi Amusan’s 12.12s world record.

Meanwhile despite missing the Philadelphia slam, the American  sprint hurdler is set to make a return at Los Angeles Grand Slam Track later this month.
