Olympic champion Katie Moon couldn’t hide her excitement after Hana Moll delivered a stunning performance at the 2025 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Thursday, June 12, in Eugene, Oregon.
Katie, took it to her Instagram story to celebrate the victory as she hopes for the bright future from Hana Moll.
“The future of US women’s pole vault is so bright,” Moon posted, reacting to Moll’s golden moment at Hayward Field.
Moll soared over a meet-record 4.79m on her third attempt to clinch the NCAA title in commanding fashion. The 20-year-old, competing for the University of Washington, opted to exit the competition on a high note after securing gold.
It was a day of double delight for the Moll family, as Hana’s twin sister Amanda Moll also featured on the podium. Amanda cleared 4.49m to finish third, narrowly behind Rutgers’ Chloe Timberg, who claimed silver with the same mark but fewer misses at earlier heights.
