The Wanda Diamond League returns to Paris this Friday, June 20, for what promises to be an electric evening of world-class athletics at Stade Charlety.
This will be the eighth stop on the 2025 circuit, coming off the heels of two action-packed meets in Scandinavia, that is Oslo and Stockholm.
With the World Championships in Tokyo fast approaching, Paris offers a crucial opportunity for elite athletes to fine-tune their form and test themselves against the best. For French stars, it’s also a rare chance to shine on home soil and relive the energy of last year’s Olympic Games.
Among the most anticipated events are the sprint hurdles, where the home crowd will rally behind Cyréna Samba-Mayela, an Olympic silver medallist aiming to dominate the 100m hurdles. In the men’s 110m hurdles, all eyes will be on Sasha Zhoya, who remains one of France’s brightest prospects on the international stage.
Meanwhile, Rai Benjamin will be competing for the third time in Diamond League in just over a week. His US compatriot Holloway also returns to the track for the first time since April. The three-time world 110m hurdles champion last lined up in Xiamen.

The 800m men’s race will be a must-watch, with national favorite Gabriel Tual continuing his rise. Meanwhile, Clément Ducos is set to challenge the best in the 400m hurdles, one of France’s most exciting disciplines this season.
