The 2025 Wanda Diamond League season continues with its sixth stop in Oslo, Norway, on Thursday, June 12.
This is just six days after the Rome leg, the world’s elite track and field athletes converge at the historic Bislett Stadium for another thrilling night of competition.
Among the headline acts is Great Britain’s Max Burgin, who lines up in a formidable men’s 800m field. Burgin clocked a personal best of 1:43 in Rabat two weeks ago and currently sits fourth in the Diamond League standings. He’ll face tough opposition from Paris Olympic champion Emmanuel Wanyonyi.
The night kicks off at 19:15 local time (GMT/UTC+2) with the women’s triple jump. The main broadcast window opens at 20:00, beginning with the women’s 400m hurdles.

A highlight of the evening could come in the men’s 5000m, where Ethiopia’s Hagos Gebrhiwet and Yomif Kejelcha will attempt to challenge Joshua Cheptegei’s 2020 world record of 12:35. Gebrhiwet came within a second of the mark last year, while Kejelcha was runner-up in the same race.
The final event, the men’s 300m hurdles, promises a dramatic close. Though not an Olympic discipline, it features all three Olympic medallists from Paris: Rai Benjamin, Alison dos Santos, and Norwegian star Karsten Warholm. Warholm, who holds world records in both the 400m and 300m hurdles, will compete in front of his home crowd.
Oslo will host 13 Diamond League disciplines. That is Seven for men and six for women. As athletes earn crucial points toward qualifying for the season finale in Zurich, Switzerland. After Oslo, the tour moves on to Stockholm, Sweden.
