Championship of America to Showcase Top Talent at Penn Relays

Championship of America events at the 2025 Penn Relays will showcase top high school and college athletes from April 24-26. The event will be at Franklin Field, University of Pennsylvania. The relay teams will compete in 4x100m, 4x200m, 4x400m, and 4x800m relays. The event is set to be graced by some of the fastest and most promising runners from schools like Clemson, Georgetown, Oregon, Penn State, Texas A&M, and Villanova.

The Penn Relays attract thousands of athletes across multiple levels.  The Championship of America events specifically spotlight the fastest and most competitive relay squads. Olympians such as Wil London, Javon Francis, Jacory Patterson, and Vashti Cunningham are set to compete alongside rising stars. Mostly from high school and college ranks. This mix of elite talent makes the Championship of America relays one of the most thrilling races of the meet.

The Championship of America events feature standout relay teams from high schools, including Demarest, Morris Hills, and Union Catholic. Meanwhile, athletes like Adam Kaufman, Hunter Iorio, and Paige Sheppard are competing in the 4x800m and distance medley relays. College teams from powerhouses such as NC State, Rutgers, and Wisconsin will also vie for top honours.

The men’s and women’s fields include some of the fastest relay squads in the country, with fierce competition expected across all distances. The Championship of America events serve as a vital platform for emerging stars and established athletes to prove their prowess. Winning teams earn the prestigious Penn Relays Wheel trophy, a symbol of excellence and tradition in American track and field.
