Alison dos Santos ran a strong race to finish second in the men’s 400m hurdles at the Diamond League Stockholm with a time of 46.68 seconds. He faced off against top rivals Rai Benjamin and Karsten Warholm, making the race one of the most thrilling in recent years.

He said, “When we (myself, Rai Benjamin and Karsten Warholm) all line up together, you know it’s going to be a great race. I’m proud of my race today – the result could have been better, but I’ll be back. I stayed patient and just focused on my lane. The body felt ok, but the mind was a little tired.”
