The American hurdler pulled away smoothly from a stacked field, maintaining superb form over the final barriers to cross the line with authority. However, Jamaica’s Ackera Nugent , one of the pre-race favorites, had to settle for second, in 12.37.

Stark was overjoyed after making a win ; “It’s always a great feeling to win and to have a season’s best,” She said. “I’m just trying to take it meet by meet, focus on executing each race, and let that carry me through.”
With the ultra-competitive U.S. Olympic Trials looming, Stark remains grounded but confident. Next up? A stop in Paris, where she’ll test herself again on the Diamond League circuit.
Meanwhile, the Jamaican, Ackera Nugent, also expressed optimism after her second finish. “I’ve been off for like two weeks so training putting things together slowly… so I’m really excited.”
Devynne Charlton of The Bahamas, who holds the world indoor record in the 60m hurdles had to settle on fourth position. Charlton has had a busy season, competing frequently on the international stage, and was among the serious contenders.
