University of Alabama Star Runs 9:10.13 at Wake Forest Invitational, Qualifies for 2025 World Championships

Doris Lemngole delivered a commanding performance in her season debut at the Wake Forest Invitational, setting a new world-leading time in the women’s 3,000-meter steeplechase. The University of Alabama athlete finished first with a time of 9:10.13, breaking her own collegiate and school records.

Lemngole’s 9:10.13 run not only surpassed her previous best but also met the qualifying standard for the 2025 World Championships. Her time currently stands as the fastest in the world this season.
