Dutch athletics superstar Femke Bol flew to her third consecutive 400m hurdles title at the London Diamond League meeting with a dominant performance in the 2025 edition on a cool Saturday afternoon.

The 25-year-old one-lap hurdler was in pristine form on one of her favourite tracks, clocking 52.10 seconds. The time was just 0.15 seconds shy of the world-leading mark she set in Monaco a week earlier, underscoring her unmatched consistency this season.

Full Results – Women’s 400m Hurdles, London Diamond League 2025:

  1. Femke Bol (NED) – 52.10
  2. Jasmine Jones (USA) – 53.18
  3. Andrenette Knight (JAM) – 53.79
  4. Gianna Woodruff (PAN) – 54.00
  5. Emma Zapletalová (SVK) – 54.08
  6. Lina Nielsen (GBR) – 55.04
  7. Daniela Ledecká (SVK) – 55.83
  8. Janieve Russell (JAM) – 1:00.55

Bol, Jasmine Jones of the United States, and Jamaica’s Andrenette Knight were stride-for-stride in the early stages, but the reigning European champion surged ahead in the final stretch. As the field entered the home straight, on the very track where London hosted the 2012 Olympic Games, it became a solo exhibition for Femke Bol.

Stretching away from her rivals with commanding ease, Femke Bol crossed the line more than a full second ahead of Jones, while Knight finished third to complete a competitive podium.

This victory adds to Femke Bol’s special connection with the London Stadium, where she still holds the meeting record of 51.30 seconds, a mark she set in 2023 when she first dipped below the 52-second barrier.
