Olympic medallist Gabby Thomas is set to headline a star-studded women’s 100m lineup at the 2025 ATX Sprint Classic, taking place Saturday, June 28, at Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas.

Thomas, who won bronze in the 200m and silver in the 4x100m relay at the Tokyo Olympics, enters the meet with a season’s best of 11.00 seconds in the 100m. While better known for her explosive prowess in the 200m, where she holds a lifetime best of 21.61s.

Joining her on the start list is Nigerian sprint sensation Favour Ofili. Ofili, returns to action for the first time since rewriting the history books in May. The 22-year-old stunned the athletics world at the Adidas Atlanta City Games when she stormed to a world-best 15.85s in the rarely run 150m.

Ofili, who owns Nigeria’s national record in the 200m (21.96s), will be looking to sharpen her short sprint form ahead of the World Championships. Her season’s best of 10.94s in the 100m makes her a clear podium contender. She edged out Gabby Thomas in the Grand Slam Track in Miami, finishing third with 10.94 as Thomas clocked 10.97.

Fellow Nigerian Rosemary Chukwuma will also be in the mix. The 23-year-old has been in scorching form this season. She clocked a personal best of 11.03s at the Star Athletics Sprint Series in Florida earlier this month.

The depth of talent in the women’s 100m is undeniable. Lining up alongside Thomas, Ofili, and Chukwuma are experienced U.S. sprinters Aleia Hobbs and Kayla White. Hobbs, a former NCAA champion, remains one of the most consistent American sprinters in recent years. Meanwhile, White brings her 200m firepower highlighted by a swift 22.01s this season , into the shorter sprint.
