Scott, who finished fifth at both the 2022 World Athletics Championships and the 2022 Commonwealth Games, has been one of the standout figures in the triple jump this year. After a fourth-place finish at the 2025 World Indoor Championships in Nanjing and a personal best of 17.34m in Oslo’s Bislett Games earlier this month, Scott reaffirmed his elite status in Paris.

His victory underlines a season of consistency that also includes a win at the Xiamen Diamond League and a runner-up finish in Shanghai.

Scott now leads the Diamond League men’s triple jump qualifiers standings with 23 points, ahead of Pedro Pichardo on 15 points and Zango with 13.

Scott has not only proven his championship pedigree but also placed himself as a top contender for the Diamond Trophy later this season.
