American distance running star Jordan Hasay is proving her resilience this time by running strong into her third trimester of pregnancy.
In a heartfelt facebook post, Hasay, now 32 weeks pregnant, shared her excitement about continuing to run while expecting her child, a dream she’s had since childhood.
“I remember my mom telling me she was able to run in her pregnancy with me up until about the last 6 weeks,” she wrote. “Ever since I was a little girl, I always thought about what it would be like and now I’m here!”

The post features a powerful image of Jordan Hasay mid-stride, proudly displaying her baby bump. A visual statement of strength and endurance. She affectionately referred to her unborn child as “little baby Hogan” and shared moments of connection during her runs.
“I have found myself out during our runs thinking ‘you are so fast already, let’s do this!’”

Hasay, 33, is one of the most accomplished U.S. female distance runners of her generation. She burst onto the national scene as a high school phenomenon and later became a 15-time All-American and NCAA champion at the University of Oregon.
As a professional, Hasay made headlines in 2017 when she ran the fastest marathon debut ever by an American woman (2:23:00) in Boston. Later that year she clocked 2:20:57 in Chicago. That was the second-fastest marathon time by an American woman at the time.

Meanwhile Hassay`s preparations to welcome her child, continues to inspire not just with her competitive resume, but with her example of maternal strength and determination.
“Hoping I can inspire our little one as much as my mom inspired me,” she added.
