FBK Games: Unstoppable Anavia Battle Extends 200m Winning Streak

American sprinter, Anavia Battle continued her remarkable unbeaten run this season, cruising to victory in the women’s 200 meters at the FBK Games in Hengelo on Monday with a time of 22.75 seconds.

Battle, maintained her flawless 2025 record in the event, securing another 200m win of the season. Displaying composure and strength, Battle powered through the curve and pulled away in the closing stages, holding off a competitive field to claim another convincing win on European soil.

Sweden’s Julia Henriksson finished second in 23.10, while Minke Bisschops of the Netherlands delighted the home crowd by placing third in 23.14.

Despite not clocking a season’s best, Anavia Battle once again proved her consistency and finishing prowess. She adds to earlier wins in Atlanta, Doha. Her steady dominance has made her one of the most in-form 200m runners on the circuit this year.

“I’m just building race by race,” said Battle after the meet. “Staying focused, staying healthy, and executing each time I step on the track that’s the goal.”

With the U.S. Olympic Trials approaching and global championships on the horizon, Battle’s growing momentum signals that she is not only a contender but a serious threat in the women’s 200 meters.
