A Star-Studded Field

Organized by New York Road Runners (NYRR) — the nonprofit that “runs” the city through more than 60 races annually. The Mini 10K continues its legacy of empowering women across all ages and fitness levels. First held in 1972 as the Crazylegs Mini Marathon, the event was a trailblazer in women’s athletics. Just three weeks after that inaugural race, the landmark Title IX legislation was signed into law. This led to opening doors for women and girls in sports.

Now in its 53rd edition, the Mastercard New York Mini 10K honors that legacy with a powerful message: Women belong in sports — and they continue to lead the way.
