Britain’s Molly Caudery claimed her first win of the season in impressive style, emerging as the only athlete to clear 4.75m in a challenging women’s pole vault competition in the ongoing Wanda Diamond League at Doha ,Qatar.

Battling through tough conditions caused by a swirling wind, Caudery maintained her composure and focus to secure the top spot. The performance is a strong statement from the Briton, who has been steadily building momentum this season and will take confidence from overcoming both the elements and a competitive field.

Italy’s Roberta Bruni and reigning world champion Katie Moon of the USA tied for second place, each managing a best clearance of 4.63m.

The tricky weather conditions proved a major hurdle for many of the vaulters, disrupting their rhythm and consistency throughout the event. Despite that, the top three delivered solid performances, with Caudery’s winning vault standing out as the highlight of the evening.
