Kenny Bednarek dominated the Grand Slam Track event in Kingston, Jamaica, with a double gold win in both the 100m and 200m races. 

On April 4th, Bednarek edged out Oblique Seville in a nail-biting 100m finish, clocking 10.07 seconds to secure first place. On April 5th, he showcased his prowess in the 200m, defeating Great Britain’s Zharnel Hunges and former World Champion Fred Kerley.

In an interview, Bednarek said,
“If I can get that down, I feel like nobody is going to be able to beat me.”

Consequently, Bednarek’s double win reaffirmed his status as one of the world’s top sprinters. His victories marked an electrifying start to the inaugural Grand Slam Track season, organized by Michael Johnson.
