Gabby Thomas Ready for Grand Slam Track debut. The American sprinter has expressed her readiness for the event this weekend.

The Olympic sprinter is ready to grab a whopping $200k prize, as well make history in both 100 meters and  200 meters, if her short message on Instagram, @grandslamtrack here I come,” is anything to go by.

“Michael’s vision is incredibly exciting, and I can’t wait to give the millions of track fans around the world even more chances to watch us compete. I look forward to seeing all of our fans at the four Slams next year,” Thomas said.

Gabby Thomas acknowledged the Grand Slam Track as a good idea not only for her but for the entire sport. The Grand Slam Track will be launched on Friday by sprint legend Michael Johnson.

The Gand Slam Track event features four major meets, each packed with 96 top sprinters. Most of the sprinting stars will meet with their rivals.

Gabby Thomas highlighted some of the challenges faced by athletes and stated that the GST will be a big opportunity for athletes.

Gabby, who lives in Austin, Texas, now has a hard task ahead to ensure she trains well.  Before heading to Kingston, Jamaica, where the GST event will take place. The event is scheduled to take place from April 4th to 5th.

She will later grace the second leg in Miami, from May 2nd -3rd, before heading to Philadelphia for a third round. It will take place between May 31st and June 1st. Then, later, head to Los Angeles for the final leg, from June 8th to 29th.

The winners of each event will pocket $100,000 per leg.

Grand Slam Track_with big stars gracing the event, speed and pace are expected to determine. Professional athletes compete for big prizes.
